About us

My start in Holiday Decorations was in 1974, in a store window at Carroll’s Stationery in Red Bank, New Jersey. There I learned product merchandising by helping to change the store windows every 6 weeks. 

I still remember their Christmas windows as the most special with the mechanical figures and decorations.

In 1978, I started selling seasonal and Christmas decorations through the Party and Gift industry as a Manufacturer's Representative, working in New Jersey and beyond.   I stayed with that company for 6 years and as the Party industry grew, I opened my own company, Bob Miller Enterprises, carrying the products of 30 companies and covering multiple states with 7 sales peoples.  

But in 1996 the opportunity came for me to work for a very prestigious New York City design company where I headed their commercial decorating division and decorated some of the cities most notable properties and holiday landmarks.

Our whole world changed after 911, and the company decided shortly after to concentrate on their world famous holiday mechanical window business and closed their commercial holiday decorating division.

After working with some of the largest decorators in the USA, the decision was made for our family to move to Florida, closer to my wife’s parents.  We left the pressure of NYC and cold weather of the North East behind us, but I was still able to hang on to the most famous account in the land for many many years after our move.

In 2004 now in central Florida I went to work with Brandano Display Inc out of Margate, Florida.  Brandano is one of the largest display manufacturers in the USA, and a leader in the drive through holiday event business.  Relationships like ours with Brandano Displays Inc. do not come along often, and we will continue to promote business working with their company in the future!

In 2007 I decided to open up Miller Lights, Inc to build a family business and work side by side with my son Ryan who has worked with me every season since 1996 when he was only 13 years old.   After school and working a union job up north, Ryan has joined the company full time as we expand our business throughout Central Florida and beyond.
